1.
Despair. Grief. Sadness. One and same. Shame. Death. Hatred...My name. Lest We Grieve.
2.
Where all light is suffocated, I can bask in the memory. No breath, no thoughts, no judgement. Just as it all begins to melt away, without corrosion of time. I cling to the remnants of trauma. The pain that wakes and hardens the soul. The body entwined in the cold of the mind. The death of the ego. Lest we grieve...The death of the ego. Lest we grieve of a time when I wished to remain. The shackles of death will drag me to a new beginning. Lest we grieve.

Despair 04:53
The distance in your eyes, matched only by the spite on your lips. You are familiar, I've known you so many times, I've lived so many lives with you. Despair, you heartless whore. Still sucking the life out of me. You heartless whore. You are the warmth of fire, the chill in the breeze. You are the damp in the rain. The rain that pours and engulfs, like an ocean for me to drown in. You heartless whore. You are Despair. She follows me, She loves me, Despair. You suffocate me. Drown me like the ocean you are. She follows me, She loves me. I will break away from you, even if it's the death of me.
4.
I dream of a tree... Wake me. Deep in my dreams, a forest. Soon to change, soon to rise up. As one tree of mortality. Branching over me, darkening the sky. I hear a voice speak my name. Calling out from the earth below me. The roots are his hands, pulling me down to be with him. Among the emptiness. The place where all life ends. Under the tree of mortality. Deep in my dreams, a forest, soon to change. Soon to rise up. As I try to wake from this suicidal slumber, I realise I was never sleeping. This was no dream. Under the tree of mortality.

about

For new things to grow, the old must die. We sometimes grieve the loss of what we shed in order to grow, but that is the cold nature of life.
